Edinburgh, 24-25 June 2009
We are extremely fortunate to have Jonathan Lewis visit Edinburgh to give his two-day Tutorial after presenting at UKOUG Conference Series Scotland (previously known as OUG Scotland Conference & Exhibition) on 23 June 2009.
This PiSec Seminar is aimed at Oracle DBA's and Oracle Developers with an interest in troubleshooting and writing optimal SQL.
On the first day of the two-day seminar we learn how to think around design issues (the tuning) as well as looking at strategies - and some fixes - for addressing implementation problems (the trouble-shooting).
The second day of the seminar focuses on Optimal SQL - How do you improve the performance of a production system by attacking inefficient SQL? How do you design a system so that you can get data into and out of it efficiently?
The seminar is priced at £895.00 (excluding VAT). This includes course material and refreshments throughout the day. Remember - Members of both UKOUG and ScotlandIS are entitled to a 20% discount off all our training!
Why should you send your staff to this seminar?
- You want to make the best use of your DBA/Developer's time ensuring incidents are resolved quickly, efficiently and ultimately prevented, allowing them to be in the best position to deliver stable business critical systems.
- You want them to implement systems equipped with the right troubleshooting skills to guarantee your project is delivered efficiently and within budget.
